Ever wonder why ham is so damn good while baby pigs are so adorable? Seems like a …what do you call it… paradox. But in reality it’s because we’re way more likely to eat “cute” things than we are to eat “ugly” things like Sea Urchin. Japan is excluded from this conversation.

The thing is, there probably ain’t no god out there (and yes that is not capitalized for a reason). If there were, we wouldn’t have Katrina, the BP Oil Spill, 9-11, or a night of feeding on delicious baby pig flesh cause you’re too tired to cook and feed on baby cow flesh. So that’s my thought for the evening. Get used to the Earth, cause that’s your home and you ain’t going anywhere until you ain’t going anywhere.

Today I decided to commit a felony. Federal trademark infringment to be exact. Actually I’m a little fuzzy on whether that’s a felony, a misdemeanor or just a rotten neighborly act, but the point is it’s a matter of principle. I was ready to do it. I was ready to steal Stereo Radiation’s trademark logo, but then at the last minute a flash of inspiration came to me and I decided against it. So I quickly created what I consider to be a work of genius and a completely orginal masterpiece. It is the logo you now see on every page of Project 4987.

This completely orginal and non-derivative work was produced with a 100% royalty free fonts that I found completely randomly and by chance at 1001fonts.com. I crafted it with great care and attention to detail, making sure that I didn’t, even accidentally, mimic any existing works. Although, If I had wanted to steal Stereo Radiation’s logo who would have stopped me? CapZ, although an accomplished legal professional is way to busy to record a podcast, much less go after original artists such as myself.

I hope that you enjoy this beautiful work of art that I’ve bestowed upon you, and that you and your family treasure it for years to come.

We spend most of this episode ragging on the country of criminals, and boy do they deserve it. I mean, Vegemite …Really? God is spiting you and sending you natural disaster after natural disaster. Can’t you see the signs, Koala Bear lovers? We also ponder the mysteries in the night sky and dead televangelists, plus we explore the incredibly offensive Hotcakes Podcast which should be banned in all countries. So, this Saturday we’re going to try again and see what happens. It may be a total disaster, again. Still no word from certain folks who are supposed to be involved but aren’t. We may put out a show and let listeners decide whether the show should live or die, via a poll or something. Still many discussions must take place.

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. I’m a freggin brain scientist super-awesome psychic mind master, but I can’t grant you dreams or anything. I’m not a genie. Do you see a lamp around me, asshole? I didn’t think so.

In any case, the first episode was recorded a week ago. It was rough. So we’re still discussing whether it is something we want to make available yet. There were some technical problems, a little bit of democratic debate about how should actually put this bitch together. All in all a good start, but you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.

So patience please, young padswans. The force will be withyou soon.

So the first trial run was recorded last night and Mat is busy calculating all the bits of audio and assembling them into a listenable mess with his new telephonic computer.  Not quite sure if it will ever be released.  There were some good bits in there, but obviously it takes a while to build chemistry with people you have never actually met before, like in the same room in person I mean.  In fact it got better the longer we went, with the best conversation taking place after we stopped recording.  Considering that though, it really wasn’t bad.  Everybody has their own particular style and comedic timing which need to be synced, and like Mat found out with his new piece-of-shit Droid phone syncing things can be hard.

CapZ & McG were afflicted with that bad case of temporary amnesia that’s going around the Michigan area and didn’t make it to the call.  Hopefully they’ll get better soon.

So, we’ll see what happens to the future of the Universe of JamMouth Radiation Podcast, or what we like to call Project 4987.  Maybe another trial run or two and we’ll have something awesome and a little funny.

This is going to be the best podcast ever.  The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, bitches.  There should be some text here about the show, but I’m too lazy to write it.  I just can’t be bothered.  I got other shit to do anyway, I mean it’s just stupid podcast anyway, it’s not like we’re getting paid for this shit.
